Chrisland University Matriculates 70 Students;


set to Award two Certificates in Near Future to Students – VC

Chrisland University, Abeokuta today 7 March, 2019 held its fourth matriculation, 2018/2019 academics session.

The founder and chancellor Dr. (Mrs.)W.A Awosika in her address said the students and graduates of Chrisland University were anointed children and will always shine all over the world.

She advised the students to be diligent in their chosen fields of study, adding that they are the future leaders and as such hard work and dedication is highly needed to succeed.

Dr. Awosika, further thanked the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo who had been most supportive of the university.

The Guest Speaker, Professor Oluseye Alabi, who was addressing the 4th Matriculating students called on the students to be focused and consistent in their studies, stating that only consistency could ensure maximum performance.

Alabi pointed out that Chrisland University was one of the Universities that were designed to secure the future of the graduands and students should take advantage of the University programmes to be great in life.

He however encouraged the new intake to put in their best and never give room for any reason why they should quit.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, said upon admission into Chrisland University, Students are nurtured to be great achievers in life.

She said the programme of the University as shown in the Handbook of the institution is to make it a world class, adding that the learning environment had been created to be so.

She further said that the University has recorded a100 percent accreditation of all her 9 programmes both in Colleges of Arts, Social and Management Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences in her first exercise.

Prof. Chinedum also disclosed that the institution is working towards including College of Medicine and Science were programmes like Nursing, Public Health, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Anatomy and Physiology will be offered.

She further thanked the founder of the University, Dr Mrs Awosika for her vision, prayer and all round support for the university and Oba Gbadebo for his Royal support.
