The twenty six house of assembly aspirants led by Honorable Lamidi Musefiu has said that they have dumped APC for Allied people’s movement, APM because the national chairman, APC, Adams Oshiomhole has denied them their mandates.
Musefiu who is the former chairman of Ado Odo Otta local government disclosed this during a press conference in Abeokuta.
According to Musefiu, who acknowledge the role of President Mohammadu Buhari for his role is managing the crisis in APC but the unfortunately some forces which he didn’t mentioned had hijacked the party structure resulting to announcement of those politicians who did not participate in the primaries as the candidate of the party.
“We are committed to the second term agenda of President Mohammadu Buhari’s aspiration, we are going to deliver him in Ogun State with our party Allied People’s Movement”
” We are going to work tirelessly for our gubernatorial candidate, Honorable AbdukKabir Adekunle Akinlade towards 2019 election as the governor of Ogun State said Musefiu Lamidi.”
He also condemned the national leadership of All Progressives Congress APC led by Comrade Adams Oshiomole for denying them of their mandates, which he described as impunity.
The former chairman of Ado Odo Otta, Musefiu also dissociate their agitation from the mandate of Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s senatorial ambition.
