FMC MD seeks renewed dedication from workers


The Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu, has sought for rededication on the part of workers as part of effort to make the centre achieve its full potential.
The Medical Director spoke at the end of the year and send forth party of 10 retirees organized by the hospitals department of works and maintenance.
Prof. Olomu, who was represented by the hospitals Head of clinical services, Dr Fidelis Ojeblenu, urged all members of staff to be dedicated to their duty and to also maintain discipline among themselves.
The further urged them to continue to relate as one big family.
Prof. Olomu attributed the chronicle achievements he has made in office so far to the hard work, resilience and team spirit exhibited by members of staff.
He stated that the works and maintenance department have contributed largely to the growth of the centre and described it as the backbone of the centre that they can’t do anything without work department.

The program was attended by top management members of the centre including the Director for Finance, whio was represented by Mrs Ekudayo, the Secretary to the Hospitals Management Committee, Pastor David Akaraiwe, Head of Nursing Department, Mrs Olumade, Director for Pharmacy, Dr Felix Ajayi Taiwo, Head of Centre for Procurement, Engr. Odurombi.
In their separate responses, the retirees commended the Departments Director for his kind gesture and prayed for the continuous growth of the centre.
