Ogun begins collection of Hajj, Umrah fare initial deposits for 2019 exercise


The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board, has commenced the collection of initial deposits for the 2019 Hajj and Umrah.

A release signed by the Board’s Executive Secretary, Alhaji Abdul Hakeem Kalejaiye, also called on prospective pilgrims to note that the agency would strictly abide by the guideline’s for the year’s exercise.

It therefore requested the intending pilgrims to make deposit of one million, two hundred thousand naira (N1, 200,000.00) only at not more than three instalments, for the Hajj and five hundred thousand naira (N500,000.00) only for Umrah respectively.

The release enjoined all devout Muslims willing to partake in the 2019 Hajj operations, through the Board, to liaise with its Finance and Accounts Department, to ascertain the mode of payments to the designated Bank(s).
